ASLI ŞENSOY
Biography
Ph.D. Aslı Şensoy, is an academician at
Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University. In her doctoral
research, she examined the effects of inquiry-based
learning in science education and has conducted
studies on teacher education and science teaching.
Additionally, she has participated as an instructor and
researcher in various national and international
projects aimed at improving science education and
teacher training processes. During the 2011-2012
academic year, she pursued a one-year master's
education at the Faculty of Education at the University
of Ljubljana, Slovenia, as part of the Erasmus+
program. In 2022, she returned to the same faculty to
teach, gaining firsthand experience with different
instructional approaches both as a student and as an
academic. This book compares the teacher training
systems of Türkiye and Slovenia, analyzing the teacher
training systems of both countries and offering
recommendations for effective teacher education.
