Azerbaijani dialects, in addition to preserving the history of our language, have characteristics that distinguish them from the literary language. This can be observed in the phonetics, lexicon, morphology, and syntax of dialects. They have been discussed in candidate, doctor of philosophy, and doctor of science dissertations, as well as in individual monographs, textbooks, teaching aids, and methodological aids, and their characteristics that differ from the modern Azerbaijani literary language have been shown.
