About Publication Acceptance
- • First, in order for your work to be accepted for publication, the plagiarism report must indicate a similarity rate of below 30%. It is sufficient to send the plagiarism report together with your manuscript to our email address: sempublhouse@gmail.com.
- • To minimize errors caused by word displacement, sentence merging, and deformations in tables, graphs, and formulas resulting from differences in computer operating systems, all manuscripts must be submitted in both WORD and PDF formats, as specified in these guidelines.
- • Before submitting your work to our publishing house, please carefully review it for spelling and orthographic errors.
- • If your work is a full translation of another publication, the required permission must be obtained from the author(s) whose work you are translating, and their signatures must be included in the contract.
- • If your book has been published on other platforms, this must be indicated as a note in the chapter and in your book.
- • The copyrights of works published by us belong to SEM International Publishing House.
- • If any claim is made regarding the entire work or any part of it, the damages and legal responsibilities arising from this belong to the author.
- • Contracts must be signed by the chief editor of the work, and all responsibility for the book belongs to the person signing the contract.
- • If the book consists of chapters, each chapter author must sign their chapter and this must be noted in the contract.
- • It is sufficient to sign the contract(s) and send it back to our publishing house via email.
- • Before publication, the final draft of the book will be sent to you and your permission for publication will be requested.
Book and Chapter Writing Rules
No space should be above the book title. The book title should be bold, Times New Roman, and 12 pt.
Your works should be written entirely in APA 7 Style.
When starting a new topic, a space should be added after the paragraph.
For numbered/marked text, the lower and upper indent should be 1 cm.
Titles of tables, figures, and graphs should be written in 12 pt, Times New Roman, and bold font.
Notes: Times New Roman, Normal, and 10 pt
Special articles and quotations should be written in Times New Roman 12 pt and italic font. The spacing between lines should be 1 cm above and below.
The section after the foreword and the Bibliography section will start on a new page.
Bibliography should be written in APA 7 style.
Bibliography should be written in alphabetical order.
The source should be indicated below figures, graphs, etc.
Bibliography will be in the format shown below;
No space should be placed between the bibliography title and bibliography lines. Times New Roman, 12 pt, and line spacing 1 cm

To prevent displacement or nesting caused by differences in operating systems, the book or chapter should be sent in WORD format and additionally in PDF format. However; before sending the files, you should carefully check for errors in orthography rules and sentence integrity by doing the editorial work yourself.

Page size and page layout will be the same as chapter books.

Today, in a place where information can be presented to millions of people in digital media, it is possible to access electronic publications thousands of times faster than printed publications in a short time. SEM International Publishing House believes in the necessity of maximum sharing of information and therefore continues its activities on the digital platform.
What are the differences between publishing a book as an e-book or as a printed book?
There is no scientific difference between publishing a book as an e-book or as a printed book. E-books have the same rules as printed books, provided that they comply with the scientific procedures required by the licensed publisher and are given academic ISBN and DOI. As is known, with technology, the speed of information transfer has increased thousands of times. In this context, electronic publications are superior in the context of spreading scientific information, as they are delivered faster than printed publications, provided they are published in qualified digital media.
Do you provide printed copies of books published by your publishing house to authors?
There are two stages in which scientific research can officially become a book. In the first stage, the research is carefully examined by experts in the same field; If the expertise is positive, in the second stage, the necessary procedures (such as ISBN and DOI assignment) are completed by the authorized publisher and the digital printing of the book is completed. With the completion of these two stages, the book is formed. After that, the question to be answered is how the book will be delivered to readers. There are two methods for this. The first method is to publish it as a digital book in an electronic environment (CD, online access and closed access through membership registration), and the second method is to publish it as a printed book in a paper environment. As an author, we publish and deliver to you as many physical copies of the book as you want, because you want to physically take your book, put it in your library, or give it as a gift to your relatives.
Are copyright (royalty) payments made to authors?
SEM International Publishing House is subject to the LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN on Publishing Work at https://e-qanun.az/framework/115 and operates under the scope and supervision of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan. Published books are being published on the publishing house website as open (downloadable) and closed (non-downloadable - for sale).
